Hand-split larch shingles for goldsmiths in Ennenda (CH)

The old mill in Ennenda (CH) was carefully converted by Atelier Lando Rossmaier into a studio and home for a goldsmith.

The façade was given a unique wood shingle cladding. Based on Lando Rossmaier's design, we produced hand-split larch shingles in eight different sizes and installed them piece by piece with the utmost care.

Our services for this project:

  • Creation of large-format samples (mock-ups) for the studio to precisely define the shape, dimensions and installation method of the wooden shingles.

  • Production of hand-split wooden shingles from Swiss larch wood.

  • Installation of 55,000 individual shingles.
