Renovation of 205-year-old façade,
Gasthaus zur Linde, Kirchdorf

The impressive and listed building was constructed in 1820 and is located in the centre of Kirchdorf. Messerli Architekten AG carefully renovated the inn in 2024/2025.

Most of the wooden shingle façade is still original and, even after more than 200 years, is still in such good condition that it only needs to be repaired. To this end, we produced hand-split wooden shingles in the original format, which we used to replace the defective areas.
