In Oberdiessbach, the municipality had the historic Geissbühlerhaus, which is over 250 years old, renovated and extended with an annex. In future, it will be used as a day school and multi-purpose hall for over 200 people.

Both the roof and the façade of the new building are clad with large, hand-split board shingles made from regional spruce wood. We selected this wood in the forest the previous winter, split it and, after air drying, processed it into finished, formatted board shingles.
